Getting started with Post-Radiation Skincare
Radiotherapy departments can have different guidance. Always follow your team’s instructions for your treatment area.
Common “avoid” list (post-session)
- Heat & friction: hot baths, saunas, tight seams, vigorous rubbing
- Scented or astringent products: perfume, aftershave, high-alcohol toners
- Abrasives: scrubs, loofahs, exfoliating acids on the field
- Adhesives: strong tapes on treated skin (unless used by your clinic)
What to use instead
Keep it clean—gently
Lukewarm water, pat dry.
Pairing: Mild Therapy Soap.
Cool first, then hydrate

Clothing & laundry
Soft, breathable fabrics; mild detergent; avoid fabric softener on the field.
