Getting started with Post-Radiation Skincare

Radiotherapy departments can have different guidance. Always follow your team’s instructions for your treatment area.

Common “avoid” list (post-session)

  • Heat & friction: hot baths, saunas, tight seams, vigorous rubbing
  • Scented or astringent products: perfume, aftershave, high-alcohol toners
  • Abrasives: scrubs, loofahs, exfoliating acids on the field
  • Adhesives: strong tapes on treated skin (unless used by your clinic)

What to use instead

Keep it clean—gently
Lukewarm water, pat dry.
Pairing: Mild Therapy Soap.

Cool first, then hydrate
Pairing: Rayon Gel for immediate comfort → once absorbed, apply Body Repair Cream lightly around the area.

Clothing & laundry
Soft, breathable fabrics; mild detergent; avoid fabric softener on the field.

Problem → Solution → Product Pairing
